The 2013 Falll Workshop will be on the Main Campus of Davidson County Community College (DCCC).

9:30 am - 1:30 pm              Workshop
1:30 pm                             Boxed lunch distribution

Workshop Offerings (you can only attend one):
F-1 beginner: Designed for relatively new DSOs, this session covers F-1 immigration documents, federal record keeping requirements, issuing I-20s, maintaining status, program extensions, exceptions to full course of study, change of program level, school transfer, reinstatement and change of status.

F-1 intermediate: This intermediate level workshop is designed for DSOs who understand the processes of F-1 student advising and are ready to tackle some of the more complex, or "gray," situations. Participants will discuss a range of case studies on the topics of DSO responsibilities, travel, transfers, employment, change of status, and reinstatement.
